Sith gun robh so…

Google misspells anniversary logo. Telegraph misspells headline.

The Telegraph’s headline: “Googlle: Google releases missspelt logo to mark 11th anniversary”

The url of the article is just as wrong – the Telegraph misspelled “missspelt” – which I somehow doubt was deliberate.

Maybe not. Maybe the copy editors have gotten hip?

UPDATE: Har! They not only fixed the headline overnight, they fixed the url + linked the original url to the new one.

  1. It was the Telegraph’s 555th misspelled word.

  2. How do you know it wasn’t a miss who spelled the logo wrong?

OK, that’s stretching it a bit.

Sometimes I’m under the miss-impression I’m the only person in the world with a spell-checker functioning on my computer.

I once worked on a newspaper where the local politicians hated me so much, they called me Mister Quote, which was slightly better than the previous female reporter, who they’d dubbed Miss Quote.
