  1. Whoda thunk Scientology was at the epicentre of irrational nonsense? I’d have had my money on the Murdock press.

  2. Faux News is on another, very similar, slide, surrounded by CNN, MSNBC, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, Chicago Sun-Times…

  3. This diagram is from the standpoint of physicalism/scientism , of which another bollocks diagram could be made. There is no absolute ground of being, it’s all bollocks.

  4. Agreed, with the exception of the upper left of the Quackery bubble…every one of those has a history of 100′s if not 1000′s years of applied practice and succes ( not 100% of ANY field proves valid over time)

  5. Sorry, I’m calling BULLSHIT on including acupuncture in this list. I have been a practicing acupuncturist for 14 years and I have seen far to many people benefit from it. Not to mention a growing body of studies (Well designed, peer reviewed studies) that are revealing physiological mechanisms of how acupuncture works.

  7. Who defined these concepts as quackery? This is the problem with who holds the power holds the ability to define others as quacks or not. Venn diagram dismissed as quackery in and of itself by definition of its title.
