Folks - notice this dude is an auslander. I doubt if he ever populates the "Big Blog" - so, he might not even be aware that here in the GOUSA there are Left and Right Libertarians. Both flavors wandering through American politics.

The racism of Right Libertarians in the US may not be an allpresent characteristic in the Euro flavor - though I tend to think it is - given Le Pen, etc..

And who knows where he picked up his version of American history. If it's only from Ron Paul blogs - being divorced from economic reality ain't a surprise.

Just suggest cutting him a little slack.

This is the extent of their greed. They protect themselves from even the smallest court claims. They don't even stand to lose a measurable percentage of their profits from claims such as this, and they still squash those with legitimate claims like ants.
Mail in a penny postcard when you decide to study American history - as opposed to parroting absurdities.

American economy began to make its way beyond an agricultural slave-based economy in the 19th Century. After our civil war. Employment and expansion boomed then, too, on the basis of endless land, raw materials, immigration and freedom from European wars.

But, the real growth of the American economy followed that separation from the ravages of Euro war - and an education system provided as a public necessity, universal suffrage including women, dynamic industrialisation in the 20th Century. The latter took two waves between the world wars and after the second.

Ron Paul would eliminate any chance of education, economics, science or equal opportunity for the whole population to participate In the process. If you think that relying on a moneyed elite to provide the machinery for invention and growth is sufficient, than - like other Paulistas - you would relegate this nation to an even more out-of-date time than the 19th Century.

Cripes, dude - you wouldn't get a passing grade in any respectable university this side of Oral Roberts. Fortunately, even the average American with a 6th grade equivalent education understands that better than you do. Phew!

So, when was the time the United States made it from a nobody to the greatest nation on earth? Oh, it was the 19th century, when government was small and focused on its core objectives. Ron Paul wants to go back because he has understood the lessons of the 20th century.
