Fake doctor jailed for giving breast exams in bars
Cripes! The headline is just about everything you need to know, right?

An Idaho judge on Wednesday set bond at $100,000 for a Boise woman police say posed as a physician and duped at least two other women into having their breasts examined by her at Boise-area nightclubs.
Kristina Ross, 37, remains in Ada County Jail in Boise on two felony counts of practicing medicine without a license…
As part of her ruse, Ross gave the women the telephone number of a real licensed plastic surgeon in Boise, the state capital, authorities said.
Staff at that medical office became alarmed at the number of calls they received from women in recent weeks attempting to confirm appointments or surgeries with a Berlyn Aussieahshowna, according to charging documents.
And, then, there’s this twist to the plot:
The suspect’s gender is unclear. Idaho court records show that Ross was arrested for petty theft in the spring and that the arrest warrant was issued to a Kristoffer Jon Ross.
The Idaho Statesman website reported that Ross has a previous criminal record as a man but identifies herself as a woman and was booked into Ada County Jail as a female…
Court appearance is set for December 1st and I can hardly wait.
Woman charged with witchcraft – in Toronto

Police have dusted off an old chapter of the Canadian Criminal Code and charged a woman with posing as a witch, allegedly to defraud a Toronto lawyer of more than $100,000.
Vishwantee Persaud, 36, is accused of conning veteran criminal lawyer Noel Daley by saying she was the embodiment of his deceased sister, whose spirit would guide him to financial success.
“She told (Daley) that she had a history in her family of them being sort of good witches, or having occult powers, and that she could do a tarot card reading for him,” said Det. Const. Corey Jones.
It was an attempt to gain Daley’s trust, police allege, and the spell worked. Over the next few months, police say, the lawyer coughed up money for a variety of reasons – including alleged bogus law tuition and rent for a premier office space in the heart of the financial district.
Persaud also faces two fraud charges…
If Persaud is found guilty, there won’t be any burning at the stake. The witchcraft charge carries a maximum sentence of six months in jail and up to a $2,000 fine.
Do you have a personal psychic?
Cripes. What a stupid question? We already know there are beaucoup people on the North American continent gullible enough, superstitious enough to believe this crap.
Usually they limit serious practice to only one day a week. And open up their bank accounts to crooks who are tax-exempt.
Man posed as doctor for 30 years

Police in Japan’s Chiba prefecture said they have arrested a man who allegedly posed as a medical doctor for about 30 years.
Yukio Hasegawa, 65, was arrested on suspicion of practicing medicine without a license under the assumed name of a real doctor…
Hasegawa allegedly told police he learned about medical treatment in 1978 by reading patients’ charts while he was working as an X-ray vehicle driver in Tokyo.
Is this a cautionary tale on reading skills or mediocre doctors?
