Authorities in Washington County, Md., say a 15-year-old girl apparently hired a fellow teenager to kill her father. County prosecutors have charged the girl, whose identity was not released, with soliciting murder for allegedly approaching a teenage boy on a school bus in October to request a hit on her father.

The 19-year-old charged in the Halloween death of the girl’s father, whose identity has also not been released to protect his daughter’s identity, has been identified as Alec S. Eger.

The father’s body was found on Halloween with multiple stab wounds to the head and neck.

John Dunlap, assistant state’s attorney for Washington County, told the newspaper the man’s daughter became a suspect in his death after authorities learned they had a conflict over the teen’s goth-styled friends – who allegedly would drink one another’s blood.
