I had no idea that many of the gun laws that were in affect when I was growing up were no longer in place in many places. Background check… that was always mandatory. I went through it when I applied to carry a .38 years ago. (I carried it less than a dozen times and decided I didn’t want it on me). And anyone can buy a gun at a gun show without any checks at all?
