Donald Trump – you’re fired! Sincerely, NBC

NBC is ending its business relationship with Donald Trump over his recent comments about Mexican immigrants.

“At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values,” NBC said in a statement. “Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.”

The network will no longer air the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants that were part of a joint venture with Trump, the statement added. Its relationship with “Celebrity Apprentice” will continue, as Trump ceased his involvement with the reality show during his presidential bid…

Univison previously announced that it would cease its relationship with the Miss Universe Organization over the comments. Trump has said he will sue that network for breach of contract and defamation.

Trump responded to the news after an appearance in Chicago, telling reporters: blah, blah, blah, blah, blah!

No need to repeat crap lies from a reactionary clown show like Donald Trump. His deceit, foolishness, lifelong dedication to self-aggrandizement and bigoted causes is well-enough known.

The Republican Party deserves him. My only hope is that his billion$ buy him a candidacy.

“Macy’s cuts ties with Donald Trump over comments about Mexicans” “While selling Trump ties and shirts at Macy’s is a small business in terms of dollar volume, my principles are far more important and therefore much more valuable,” Trump said in an emailed statement. “I have never been happy about the fact that the ties and shirts are made in China, and should I start a new product line somewhere in the future, I would insist that they are made in America.”

  2. Exterminate All Rational Thought says:

“Donald Trump bump terrifies GOP” “…Party insiders acknowledge that there’s a sliver of voters — those fed up altogether with the political system — who are drawn to Trump. “I love him,” said Jeanne Sangenario, who was on Romney’s New Hampshire women’s leadership team in 2008 and now serves as Seacoast Republican Women director. “Because I know he would take no baloney from anybody from any world leader and he would get things done and the economy would come back big time, he would get it done. No two ways about it.”

    • Puzzling Evidence™ says:

“Donald Trump soars to big poll lead. What’s going on?” (7/21/15) “…Given current polling data, it’s hard to figure out whether interest in Trump leads or lags the coverage, according to FiveThirtyEight data maven Nate Silver. But a fancy massage of the numbers indicates that it’s both, according to Mr. Silver. That makes sense: reporters write Trump stories, discover they produce lots of page views, and then they write more. [ED Note: until we make you stop].
“This creates the possibility of a feedback loop. Some event sparks a news story about a candidate, which triggers more public attention, which encourages yet more media attention – and so on,” writes Silver.
The difference with Trump is that he’s media-savvy enough to actually make this hamster wheel spin faster by himself. That’s Silver’s hypothesis. Trump feeds more and more insults and outrage into the coverage, generating more interest. He is a troll, in modern Internet parlance.” See also “Donald Trump Is The World’s Greatest Troll” @

LA auto dealer beats Donald Trump piñata on TV spot. After hitting the piñata, Nissan of Van Nuys General Sales Manager Martín “El Guapo” Cuevas says in Spanish: “Here at Van Nuys Nissan, Latinos rule.” Nissan North America released the following statement about the TV spot: “We find these advertisements to be neither responsible or respectful, and we do not condone what they represent. We expect our dealers to establish advertising that is responsible and respectful and represents the best interest of the Nissan brand.” Nissan added that it “respects the right of both individuals and private businesses to practice free speech in a responsible and respectful manner.” (This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by The Luca Group Ad Agency for Nissan of Van Nuys).

  4. So it begins says:

“The anti-immigrant sentiments at the heart of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign hit home for Boston early Wednesday, and the leading GOP candidate wasn’t nearly as contrite about it as he should have been.
According to police, a 58-year-old Mexican immigrant sleeping outside the JFK/UMass MBTA station was attacked by two South Boston brothers who were on their way home from a Red Sox game. State Police say Steven and Scott Leader both urinated on the man and beat him with a metal pole.
After they were arrested, one of them admiringly quoted his political hero. “Donald Trump was right; all these illegals need to be deported,” Scott Leader said.
Obviously, Trump isn’t personally responsible for the alleged behavior of two men in another state. But his reaction to hearing of the alleged beating of a Hispanic man was hardly worthy of a candidate for the Oval Office.
“It would be a shame. . . . I will say that people who are following me are very passionate. They love this country and they want this country to be great again. They are passionate.”
