❝ Vine will not be left to shrivel up and die on itself, not if Pornhub has anything to say about it.

Earlier on Thursday Twitter announced it was ending Vine’s short run, and the adult site was quick to come to the rescue…maybe.

❝ In a letter from Pornhub VP Corey Price to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey that was shared with CNET, Price lays out the rationale:

“We figure since Twitter has dropped (Vine) and is having significant layoffs, that you and your stakeholders could benefit from a cash infusion from the sale of Vine. Not to mention we would be saving Vine gems like ‘Damn Daniel,’ ‘Awkward Puppets’ and many more.”

Pornhub also promises to “restore Vine to Its NSFW glory,” saying that clips “of porn in six seconds is more than enough time for most people to enjoy themselves.”

❝ Uh…yeah…

❝ …Who knows, maybe Twitter will be willing to deal with Pornhub. Let’s just hope it doesn’t lead to a rash of six-second naked prank vids; that might be the only thing worse than killing off Vine.

CNET’s analysis of financial news is probably the only thing worse than their product reviews. Still, they made it to the humor plateau. Poisonally, I doubt the PornHub folks are kidding or foolish. Unlike most adult industrial nations in the mainstream of Western constitutional democracy the United States still defines most ethics by the morality stored in the fundamentalist Christian guidebook originated to the designs of a 17th Century monarch.

The most successful pornographers know better than that.

Cary being removed from the Trump rally

❝ C.J. Cary really loves Donald Trump. He has loved him for years, and he really wants him to be president. On Wednesday night, the 63-year-old came to a Trump rally in Kinston, North Carolina, determined to pass his candidate a note of advice: stop being so offensive on the campaign trail to women, minorities, and people with disabilities, or else “lying Hillary” will defeat him.

❝ According to the Charlotte Observer, Trump spotted Cary, wearing sunglasses and a bright red shirt, after he had made his way to about 30 feet from the stage and began waving his note in the air while shouting “Donald!”

Oh, did we mention Cary is black? He is.

❝ Anyway, Trump mistook Cary for a protester. Trump addressed him directly from the podium: “We have a protester!” he said…Trump then said this to Cary: “By the way, were you paid $1,500 to be a thug?”

Thug! Thug. $1,500. Thug.

❝ As the crowd erupted into chants of “Trump! Trump! Trump!” the candidate instructed his security team, as he usually does when there’s a disturbance at one of his events: “You can get him out. Get him out.”…

About the most support Trump gets from likely voters in the Black community is 4%. I’m surprised there are that many fools willing to sell out.

❝ A group of Donald Trump supporters has begun using the Twitter hashtag #repealthe19th after a map showed he would win the election if only men voted.

❝ The thought experiment from fivethirtyeight.com came after Trump’s 2005 comments about sexually assaulting women became public…Despite the candidate’s dramatic poll slip since, a revised electoral college showed he would beat Hillary Clinton 350 to 188 if the 19th Amendment had not been ratified in 1920.

The #repealthe19th tag was used last month, though the map brought out a new crop of people who want to make a Y chromosome mandatory at the ballot box.

❝ “Give out nice enough handbags and most broads would gladly trade their voting rights for one. #repealthe19th,” user Michael Maier posted Tuesday.

“I would gladly waive my right to vote to solidify the win! #TrumpPence2016 #NeverHillary,” Lilo313 said.

❝ After a Los Angeles Times article brought attention to the vile viral trend, the vast majority of tweets came from social media users disgusted by the sexist fantasy.
