    Reportedly “FarmBot costs approximately $3,500 (kit, shipping, taxes, supporting infrastructure, soil, etc) + another $500 for installation time (20 hours at $25/hour)” and accommodates beds that are up to 1.5m wide and 3m in length (slightly less than 5 ft wide and a little under 10 ft in length) – there were also limitations on seed size, which as of last May were from spinach down to lettuce. The issue of how much maintenance may be involved is not discussed.
