  1. Day 199 says:

3:58 AM – 7 Aug 2017: Donald J. Trump‏ @realDonaldTrump “The Trump base is far bigger & stronger than ever before (despite some phony Fake News polling). Look at rallies in Penn, Iowa, Ohio…….”

  2. Mouthpiece says:

President Trump’s personal lawyer forwarded an email equating first United States President George Washington with Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee, according to a report by The New York Times Wednesday. http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/346905-trumps-personal-lawyer-forwards-email-glorifying-confederate-cause-in The email was originally penned by Jerome Almon, who runs various websites peddling government conspiracy theories, including one that argues the FBI has been infiltrated by Islamic terrorists.
Dowd did not deny sending the email to the Times, telling the publication, “People send me things. I forward them.”
The email comes a day after President Trump compared the two men at a bombastic Trump Tower press conference, while discussing violence in Charlottesville, Va. over the weekend.

  3. Day 242 says:

“Trump’s lawyer caught gossiping about White House drama” (Vice News 9/18/17) https://news.vice.com/story/donald-trumps-highly-abnormal-presidency-the-week-of-sept-18
“During its tumultuous first eight months, the Trump administration has been blighted by a succession of bombshell leaks to the media. Now it seems senior White House lawyers are inadvertently briefing reporters in busy Washington eateries.
Ty Cobb, the flamboyantly hirsute White House attorney whose job it is to respond to Russia probe investigators, was overheard “casually and loudly” discussing White House drama in a steakhouse Sunday with Trump’s personal lawyer John Dowd.
The restaurant they picked is next door to the New York Times building and, unbeknown to Cobb, Times reporter Ken Vogel was sat at the “next table” eating a tuna nicoise salad ( https://twitter.com/kenvogel/status/909616733790629888 ). According to Vogel, Cobb was particularly vocal on his dispute with White House counsel Don McGahn over the handling of Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian election interference.

  5. Сумка денег says:

Just before Trump entered the election, his Taj Mahal casino paid a multimillion dollar fine for money laundering violations. On behalf of the Senate Finance Committee, Democratic Senator Ron Wyden requested the money laundering records from the Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), which levied the penalty against Trump’s casino. According to CNN, FinCEN’s response to Wyden is that it has already provided the records to the Senate Intelligence Committee. This follows a prolonged battle between Senate Intel and Trump’s Treasury Department over access to the documents, which may hold the secret of where the money that was being laundered by Trump came from. http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/22/politics/ron-wyden-treasury-nominee-russia/index.html
Meanwhile, according to the Wall Street Journal the Republican National Committee is paying Donald Trump’s attorney fees with money that’s given to them by Len Blavatnik, a Kremlin oligarch who was born in Ukraine, raised in Russia, and now has dual U.S. citizenship. https://www.wsj.com/articles/gop-funds-donald-trumps-defense-in-russia-probe-with-help-from-a-handful-of-wealthy-people-1506109617
In 2015~2016 Blavatnik donated a total of $7.35 million to Republican political candidates. He also donated $1 million to the committee for the inauguration of Donald Trump. According to Forbes Blavatnik’s net worth as of 9/23/17 was $19.6 Billion https://www.forbes.com/profile/len-blavatnik/

  7. Day 265 says:

(October 13 at 7:13 pm ET) Reince Priebus, the former chief of staff to President Trump, was interviewed for a full day Friday by members of special counsel Robert S. Mueller’s team – a sign that the special special counsel’s investigation is now reaching into the highest levels of Trump’s aides and former aides. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/reince-priebus-former-trump-chief-of-staff-interviewed-by-mueller-team/2017/10/13/fbbe6c66-b060-11e7-a908-a3470754bbb9_story.html
(Oct 13 2017, 6:39 pm ET) An NBC News investigation reveals that $26 million changed hands in the form of a loan between a company linked to Paul Manafort, a former campaign manager for President Donald Trump, and the oligarch, Oleg Deripaska, a billionaire with close ties to the Kremlin. The loan brings the total of their known business dealings to around $60 million over the past decade, according to financial documents filed in Cyprus and the Cayman Islands.
Manafort is now a central figure in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Manafort and his spokesman, Jason Maloni, have received subpoenas from Mueller to supply documents and testimony in the case. Deripaska was described in a 2006 U.S. diplomatic cable as “among the 2-3 oligarchs Putin turns to on a regular basis.”
Major news organizations like NBC typically contact the White House for advance comment several days before a story like this is published. 8. Trou de loup says:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee this Wednesday, October 18th, beginning at 10:00am eastern time. The hearing in question is listed simply as “Oversight of the U.S. Department of Justice” on the Senate Judiciary Committee website and Sessions is the only witness listed. On October 11 Nine Democrats on the committee jointly sent Sessions a letter, in response to his having cited executive privilege during his appearance before the Senate Intelligence Committee on June 13th [ https://www.nytimes.com/2017/06/13/us/politics/jeff-sessions-testimony.html ], asking that he determine ‘whether the President will evoke executive privilege as to specific topics and will be prepared to answer all questions in those areas on which he has not” when he appears before the Judiciary Committee. https://www.whitehouse.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/171011_letter%20to%20sessions%20re%20EP%20assertions_signed.pdf
According to the Senate Judiciary Committee’s official website, the hearing will be streamed live online https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/meetings/10/18/2017/oversight-of-the-us-department-of-justice That means it will also air live on CSPAN and perhaps on CNN and MSNBC as well.

  10. Day 298 says:

“On Aug. 3 of last year, just as the US presidential election was entering its final, heated phase, the Russian foreign ministry sent nearly $30,000 to its embassy in Washington. The wire transfer, which came from a Kremlin-backed Russian bank, landed in one of the embassy’s Citibank accounts and contained a remarkable memo line: “to finance election campaign of 2016.”
That wire transfer is one of more than 60 now being scrutinized by the FBI and other federal agencies investigating Russian involvement in the US election. The transactions, which moved through Citibank accounts and totaled more than $380,000, each came from the Russian foreign ministry and most contained a memo line referencing the financing of the 2016 election.
This past January, the United States’ Office of Director of National Intelligence, in a “high-confidence” assessment, concluded that Vladimir Putin personally signed off on an influence campaign to help Donald Trump win the presidency. Now, the FBI, a special counsel, and three congressional committees are conducting investigations. The committees have formally requested a wide range of banking and financial records on numerous individuals and businesses with ties to Russia from the Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, or FinCEN for short.” https://www.buzzfeed.com/jasonleopold/secret-finding-60-russian-payments-to-finance-election President Trump has repeatedly denied collusion between his campaign and Russia, alternately calling the special counsel’s probe “a hoax” cooked up by Democrats, “a witch hunt” and “fake news.”
