  1. J'accuse says:

As the F.B.I. hurries to complete its supplemental background check of the Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, twenty million witnesses have come forward claiming that they saw Kavanaugh lie under oath. (New Yorker Magazine Oct 1, 2018) According to the witnesses, they can remember the place where they saw Kavanaugh lie, a hearing room in the United States Senate, and the exact date and time, this past Thursday afternoon.
Despite the striking similarity of their stories, the twenty million witnesses to Kavanaugh’s mendacity said that they were having trouble getting in touch with the F.B.I., even though lying to the Senate is a federal crime and thus within the Bureau’s jurisdiction.

  2. Update says:

“Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 85, undergoes lung procedure to remove cancerous growth” https://www.cnbc.com/2018/12/21/supreme-court-justice-ruth-bader-ginsburg-85-reportedly-undergoes-lung-procedure-.html “The justice’s health is a matter of intense public concern because her retirement would likely enable President Donald Trump to name her replacement.
The nine-member is divided 5-4 among Republican and Democratic appointees to the court. A sixth Republican nominee would further cement the bench’s conservative majority, with possible ramifications on a slew of contentious legal issues the top court is may review in coming terms, including reproductive rights.”
