White House physician Sean Conley told reporters during a press conference at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center today that Trump was “just 72 hours into the diagnosis now,” a statement that may have contradicted the White House’s official statement of when Trump tested positive for COVID-19.
Conley later issued a memo saying that he meant “day three” of the diagnosis.
The initial statement, if taken literally, would have put the president’s diagnosis to Wednesday morning, before he traveled to Minnesota for a rally Wednesday and to New Jersey for a fundraiser Thursday. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2020/10/03/who-is-dr-sean-conley-physician-president-trump/3608901001/ [Conley is a doctor of osteopathic medicine — commonly known as a DO — as opposed to an MD, or doctor of medicine].

(11:58 AM ET, Sun October 4, 2020): “President Donald Trump is furious with chief of staff Mark Meadows after the top West Wing official contradicted the White House physician’s assessment Saturday of the President’s health, two sources with knowledge of the situation told CNN on Sunday.
Conley had talked with the President before briefing members of press on Saturday, one White House official said. The official added Conley is unlikely to say more than the President wants said.” https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/04/politics/trump-mark-meadows-chief-of-staff/index.html
(12:44 PM ET, Sun October 4, 2020): President Donald Trump’s physician, Navy Cmdr Dr. Sean Conley, held a second medical briefing that again raised more questions than answers about the President’s condition.
In another jarring news conference on Sunday, Trump’s doctors said that even though the President has had at least two concerning drops in oxygen levels, they are hoping he could be discharged as early as tomorrow from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Conley failed to answer basic questions about the President’s condition and admitted that he had omitted those alarming drops in the President’s oxygen levels during a news conference Saturday because he wanted to “reflect the upbeat attitude” that the team and the President had about his condition and didn’t want “to give any information that might steer the course of illness in another direction.”

New Jersey contact tracers are still struggling to work out the names of all of the people who were present at the private fundraising event held at Trump’s golf course and country club in Bedminster, New Jersey on Thursday where it is believed the president came into contact with 100 people and he reportedly met about 19 high-dollar GOP donors in private just hours before he was diagnosed with the virus. Contract tracers have still not been given a complete list of everyone who attended the event, reportedly because no such list exists.

Senior campaign adviser Jason Miller, when pressed by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos about the rallies Trump has held in recent weeks where supporters are largely maskless and standing within six feet of one another in clear violations of federal health guidelines, said Sunday that Trump’s team takes health guidelines meant to curb the spread of the deadly disease “very seriously.”

The president received a dose of the steroid dexamethasone on Saturday after his oxygen levels dropped, [White House physician Sean] Conley said Sunday.
“Dexamethasone is a very potent steroid that can have brain effects. There can be a manic behavior associated with dexamethasone, so certainly important that we understand that,” CBS News medical contributor Dr. David Agus said after the briefing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRYq58QPTk8

“The head of a conservative Christian non-profit organization that has been designated an anti-LGBTQ+ hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) attended the White House event announcing Donald Trump’s nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett for the supreme court.” https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/oct/05/michael-farris-amy-coney-barrett-adf
“Michael Farris, who is CEO and general counsel for the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), is seen in videos speaking closely with the Republican senator Mike Lee, who has since tested positive for the coronavirus along with a number of other attendees. Farris also spoke with the Louisiana Republican congressman Mike Johnson, the head of the conservative Republican study committee who, before his election to Congress, was senior attorney and spokesman for ADF.
Barrett’s historical ties to the group were already known. In 2017, during a confirmation hearing for her federal court position, senators questioned Barrett about her paid position as a speaker at a training program for Christian law school students, called the Blackstone Legal Fellowship, which is run by ADF. She was paid five times by the group, starting in 2011.”
