School bus driver turned in for hit-and-run by bus passenger

❝ A college student from Buffalo, New York, was surprised to find his car mysteriously dented last week, but he was even more shocked by the note left on his car.

The note was not left by another driver, but rather, someone too young to be responsible for a hit-and-run…

❝ The note writer specified it was a Buffalo Public School bus that hit Sipowicz’s car. That’s right, the anonymous good Samaritan was just a kid, on her way home from school. She signed the letter: “a 6th grader at Houghten Academy.”

Andrew Sipowicz, owner of the dented vehicle, tracked down the 6th grade schoolgirl who left him the note and plans a reward for her good deed. As for the bus driver…?

11-year-old arrested in Georgia with a knife at school — in fear of clown attacks!

❝ Police say a fearful 11-year-old Georgia girl who took a knife to school told officers she needed the weapon to fend off clowns.

The girl was arrested…at Burney-Harris-Lyons Middle School in Athens amid reports and social media posts about clowns frightening children in Georgia and other states.

❝ An Athens-Clarke County police report states the girl said she needed the knife to protect her and her family because she had heard the stories about clowns jumping out of the woods and attacking children.

Police…released the girl to her mother on a charge of possession of a weapon on school grounds.

❝ In Coweta County, southwest of Atlanta, police were investigating a suspicious Facebook post by a man claiming to be “The Newnan Clown,”…

The profile, which has since been made private, said, “If I see you, I will get You!!! I want kids and all”…

❝ In neighboring Alabama, law enforcement officials are warning that people involved in a rash of creepy clown hoaxes across the state could be prosecuted.

Not certain what’s creepier: Kids so afraid of clowns they think they need to be armed or the kids who don’t think first of trusting their safety to their parents, teachers or maybe even the local coppers?

Zoe Thompson, 8-years old

Zoe Thomson, an eight-year-old British schoolgirl whose guitar skills have made her a global internet sensation, has stunned musicians with a video of her performing a Stratovarius track.

Zoe, from Thatcham, Berks, plays in a child group called Mini Band which was catapulted to fame last year with a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman. But the youngster’s latest offering has won her hundreds of thousands more fans, showing her shredding her way through the solo of the Stratovarius’s Stratosphere…

Miss Thomson has been playing the guitar ever since she was able to hold the instrument and the latest video charts her meteoric progress since she began recording her performances two years ago.

Earlier this month, she was signed up to the guitar company Daisy Rock’s artist roster.

Zoe’s mother Collette said: “Zoe is really excited; she is overjoyed. For someone of her age to get an endorsement is a massive achievement…

Keep on rocking, Zoe!

Cruises for swingers only!

A new company called YOLO Cruises plans what’s billed as the first swingers cruise on a major ship — a sexually-charged voyage that’s sure to raise eyebrows in the industry.

YOLO Cruises president Marlene Brustle says the idea is to offer swingers — people who embrace non-monogamous sexual experiences — a chance to get away with like minded people in “an open, erotic atmosphere . . . it will feature full nudity at the pools, daytime pool parties and specially planned sexually themed parties in the evening.”

Brustle says there also will be designated playrooms “for the voyeurs and more adventurous on board.”

The themes for evening parties will include such things as “naughty schoolgirl” and “masquerade” — think Tom Cruise’s Eyes Wide Shut, says Brustle.

I wonder if they’ll be violating any federal laws about crossing state lines for immoral purposes?
