Trojan t-shirt fools right-wing “Rock for Germany” fans

Before and After

Music fans who took souvenir T-shirts from a rock festival in Gera, eastern Germany, have discovered they hold a secret message.

The so-called Trojan T-shirts bore a design of a skull and right-wing flags and the words “hardcore rebels”. But, once washed, the design dissolves to reveal a message telling people to break with extremism.

Some 250 T-shirts were donated to organisers, who handed them out at the nationalist rock festival in Gera.

The stunt was organised by a left-wing group called Exit, which seeks to reduce the influence of the right-wing in Germany.

What your T-shirt can do, so can you – we’ll help you break with right-wing extremism,” the message reads, and provides a contact number for the group.

On its website, Exit said it had made contact with the organisers of the Rock For Germany festival, in its ninth year, using a false name and had offered the T-shirts for free.

Har! I wouldn’t be such a nice guy. I’d probably add a message about the wearer being a fool.

Of course, this all requires proto-fascists who wash their clothing – and themselves.

Now we know why Obama “caved in” to the birthers

Obama birth certificate

President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign is having some fun — and raising some money — from a flap over whether Obama was born in the United States.

The Obama campaign is offering a “Made in the USA” T-shirt emblazoned with the president’s birth certificate in exchange for a $30 donation. There are coffee mugs as well.

Some Republicans [and other dipshits] have theorized Obama was born in Kenya, birthplace of his father, instead of Hawaii.

Obama ignored the accusations until wealthy real estate magnate Donald Trump made the “birther” issue a central part of his campaign to decide whether to challenge Obama in 2012. The U.S. Constitution requires the American president to be born in the United States.

With a sizable percentage of Americans expressing doubts about Obama’s birthplace, Obama last month produced a longer version of his birth certificate that confirmed he was born at a Honolulu hospital in 1961…

The issue has since ebbed and Trump this week opted against a campaign for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.

If the facts can’t make these ridiculous smears go away, we can at least have a little fun with it,” deputy campaign manager Julianna Smoot said in an email to supporters.

One of the best ways to handle populist dullards and their conspiracy cousins is laughter. Turning that laughter into a fund-raising tool – makes it worth even more. You get to laugh at these clowns while helping the 2012 campaign of the Black man they hate the most.

Three jailed for wearing kangaroo T-shirts in court

Three Singaporeans have been jailed after being charged with contempt of court for showing up at Singapore’s Supreme Court wearing T-shirts depicting kangaroos in judges robes.

Isrizal Bin Mohamed Isa and Muhammad Shafi’ie Syahmi Bin Sariman were sentenced to seven days’ jail, while Tan Liang Joo John received 15 days imprisonment. They were each ordered to pay $3,305 in costs.

Tan is the Assistant Secretary-General of the opposition Singapore Democratic Party, led by Chee Soon Juan.

The three had worn the T-shirts at a court hearing in May to determine the damages that Chee Soon Juan and his sister Chee Siok Chin were to pay after being found guilty of defaming Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and former leader Lee Kuan Yew.

I think that’s more than apt – describing the courts in modern-day Singapore.
