Favorite new photos: Bat embryos

I haven’t visited the daily GUARDIAN Eyewitness photography section in a while. Cranked it up on my iPad and this is among the latest goodie published.

    What’s with the bat on the left? I see the speak no evil and so no evil but the one on the left should be covering their ears? (or is it that bats are supposed to be deaf in the first place…? )
